SKS turns off lights for 7 days in a row to conserve energy, reduce carbon emissions, and cool down the planet

In response to the Earth Hour 60+ campaign, Shin Kong Security encouraged its employees to incorporate energy conservation and carbon emissions reduction into their daily lives. Chairman Wu Hsin-Tung led senior officials and colleagues to show support for the event. From March 20 to 26, Shin Kong Security took the step of extending its lights-off period for seven nights in a row, turning off the corporate logo sign and exterior wall lights at its technology headquarters in Neihu and 7 districts for two hours. Additionally, the activities that received enthusiastic response last year, namely the ‘Light Off Photograph-Taking’ and the ‘Save Water, Love the Earth’ activities, were again held online as limited-time events, aiming to link together personal habits, reduce carbon emissions, and help cool the earth.

The spirit of Earth Hour 60+ is to convey that, in the face of global climate change, everyone has the power to change the world, regardless of their age, class, or other factors. Looking to the future, Shin Kong Security will continue to exert its influence by integrating its corporate strategy with ESG action plans, and will continue to promote different measures to reduce environmental impact, working together with employees, clients, and suppliers to make steady progress on environmental sustainability.
