In procurement operations, the Company follows its Procurement Management Policy to assess suppliers’ capabilities and credit status prior to selection and to establish supplier profiles. Before each contract renewal, suppliers are comprehensively evaluated based on product quality, service attitude, level of cooperation, and pricing, with underperforming suppliers phased out accordingly.
Since 2013, SKS has required key suppliers to sign a commitment covering human rights and environmental sustainability. This was revised in 2024 as the Supplier Code of Conduct, requiring compliance with labor rights and human rights (including the prohibition of child labor), occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and ethical business conduct. Annual on-site inspections are conducted using the Supplier Inspection Form to promote balanced economic, social, and environmental development.
For procurement of energy-using equipment exceeding NT$150,000, suppliers are informed that energy performance will be included in the evaluation criteria and are required to complete an Energy Performance Quotation Form. In cases of non-compliance with the Code, follow-up actions are taken in accordance with contractual provisions.
All major operating sites are located in Taiwan, and SKS has maintained 100% local procurement for 11 consecutive years. Green procurement prioritizes products with environmental certification, with total green procurement reaching NT$25,527,227 in 2025.
