Health and Safety Workplace
SKS upholds a “Person-Centric” safety culture. We work hard to protect employees’ and contractors’ health and workplace safety. The Company has formulated the Occupational Safety and Health Policy, the cores of which are risk management and continuous improvement. Through this policy, we continue to optimize work environments, operating procedures, and facility safety, in order to minimize occupational accident risks.
The occupational safety and health management system disclosed in this chapter applies to operating sites and workplaces owned by the Company. It encompasses formal employees, contractor/supplier workers, and other personnel who enter work sites. Where a particular scope applies to certain statistical indicators, this is explained in the table notes.
Occupational Safety and Health Management & Goal Achievement Rate
Our short-term goal is Zero major occupational hazards, with our ultimate goal set as Zero hazards and Zero accidents.
- A total of 6 traffic accidents occurred during business travel, representing a decrease of 10 cases compared with 2024. In 2026, SKS will continue promoting traffic safety and defensive driving awareness and will invite transportation authorities to conduct traffic safety seminars.
- A total of 6 fall-from-height accidents occurred, representing an increase of 1 case compared with 2024. In 2026, SKS will continue promoting fall prevention awareness.
- A total of 3 slip, trip, and fall accidents occurred, representing a decrease of 1 case compared with 2024. In 2026, SKS will continue promoting walking safety and fall prevention awareness.
- One collision-related accident case was newly recorded.
- A total of 2 other accident cases occurred. SKS will continue conducting accident prevention awareness activities in 2026.
- A total of 8 health seminars were conducted.
- Held a “Manage Blood Pressure Well and Your Health Will Be Swell” health promotion event.
Taiwan Shin Kong Security Co., Ltd. (SKS) was established by Mr. Eugene Wu in 1980. In the initial stage of the Company's establishment, we partnered with a Japanese company, Sohgo Security Services Co., Ltd. (ALSOK), on technology to provide security services for domestic enterprises, factories, and households. In 1995, SKS was officially listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.

To prevent the occurrence of injury, disease, loss of assets, and occupational hazards, all supervisors must uphold their responsibility in safety and health management; while all employees must actively participate in activities that improve safety and health. To achieve this goal, we are committed to executing the following policies:

- Improve educational training for occupational safety and health; enhance awareness of safety and hazards.
- Implement risk assessments and management; control and eliminate occupational hazards.
- Implement health management and promotion; foster a happy and friendly workplace environment.
- Continue to improve occupational safety and health performance; ensure worker participation through consultations.
- Provide a safe and healthy workplace for security personnel.
